COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, has tested the strenght of the health systems of even the most developed economies. Most nations including Ghana are struggling to contain the spread of the virus. As of 15 June, Ghana had recorded 11, 964 comfirmed cases of Covid-19, 54 deaths and 4,258 recovered out of a global count of eight million plus infections, 435,988 fatalities and four million plus recovered. Our panelists discuss and assess the current status of the health system in Ghana and its resilience to COVID-19.
